TWO-DAY TALENT TRAINING

On the 15th & 16th of August HipHopHuis is hosting the Mind Body Soul School of Art.
An exclusive two-day talent training for talents between 8 -21 yrs, led by internationally renowned dancer, teacher and jury member: Roché Apinsa. Roché has won plenty of awards from Juste Debout Holland to Spin Off & the SDK World Finals.

 

During this two-day talent training he’ll be backed up by Hassani Le Couvreur and Angelo Pardo.

COURSES

We're skipping our usual summer break and offer 4 weeks courses in July and August. The courses consist of weekly 2-hour classes and combine technical skills with knowledge about the style, and culture. The courses run from 5 July to 30 July & August 2 to August 27!

Can't commit to a 4-week course right now? We got you! Then follow a workshop! In July and August we offer a different workshop every Saturday. In the workshops, skills are combined with knowledge about style, culture and hip-hop.

PRACTICE

Offering a safe and accessible space to grow and experiment is at the core of everything we do. Our Arena and Dance Studio are available for Open Practice and Private Practice. The studios are spacious, free of obstacles and have a good temperature.

We invited photographer Adreinne Waheed (US) on July 2rd for an exclusive Powertalk at HipHopHuis 

for a selected group of creatives of color.

 

The Powertalk will be available for everyone at a later date.  Keep an eye on our website and Insta for updates!

FOR ALL

On Keti Koti (1st of July) we handed out 250 Heri Heri meals in collaboration with KIP Republic. Check out the photos and read more about this initiative.

THE PLUG

The Plug was developed in 2020 to enable corona-proof projects from our community for our community. We selected and supported Black Birds, Walk-In-Culture and The Healing Sessions with knowledge, network connections and a budget of up to € 2,000 per project.
