Ahead of International Women’s Day on March 8 and the upcoming municipal elections in Rotterdam on March 16,
we want to hold a discussion about black women and leadership, both inside and outside politics.
We’ll start with the screening of documentary ‘Chisholm ’72 Unbought & Unbossed’ about Shirley Chisholm, the first African-American congressman to become the first woman to run for president in ’72. Afterwards we have a panel talk with journalist and poet Zaire Krieger as host/moderator with guests Michantely de Jong and Simone Zeefuik.
