The new series of self-portraits are layered and multidimensional, blending photography with techniques such as embroidery, sewing, painting, and airbrushing. They explore themes of memory, identity, and the quiet moments between movement.

About Juanita
Juanita Mendicuti Ortega is an exploring allround creative born and raised in Rotterdam, of Mexican blood. She recently graduated from Amsterdam Fashion Insitute and Patta Academy and is exploring and skilled in different kind of medium from photography to art direcetion to fabric work to painting and graphic design.
